From Vienna and Graz, the Marienhof can be reached by car in just over an hour. Travelling by train via the legendary Semmering railway line is also convenient - it takes just under two hours from Vienna and about two and a half from Graz - and is worth the trip alone, as the section between Gloggnitz and Mürzzuschlag has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site: It is the oldest mountain railway in the world. Even in the days of the emperor, people used to travel this way to the summer resort of Reichenau an der Rax. We will gladly organise a shuttle service to the nearest airport in Vienna Schwechat.
